friends
talked to my best friend peter in ca for an hour or so. we met back in 5th grade when i first moved to santa monica. two little skater/surfer kids. lol. over the years we've stayed in touch. he just got married & had a baby this year. we always talked about raising our kids together so now i feel like i'm falling behind.
he's a manager for ups now and lives out in ventura. i'm sure one of these days i'll catch up. was just really down about where i was with things tonite and it was nice to talk to a friend to put it all in perspective.
first fire of the season tonite. all crackly & warm and such. dogs are curled up in front of the wood stove just keeping warm.
guess i just need to get through the work junk, be optimistic and just move forward w/stuff. yep.
