I just got back from a camping trip with my friends: weather was shitty, neo-nazis yelling at 4 in the morning and arguments with my friends... Anyways. It was a fun vacation.. Well, I'm leaving for Prague tomorrow. Means, I don't have much time. Two days after I get back I'm gonna go tenting again.. This time, on a lake close to Berlin which is not too bad. Oh and we had a fun experience during our camping trip. On our second day we couldn't stand the stupid camping are anymore so we went to a little city nearby (Frankfurt/Oder - don't mix it up with Frankfurt/Main - the financial capital of Germany). Frankfurt/Oder is a very small East-German city. You can tell that they still have a lot of work to do there. Anyway. We asked one random dude on the sidewalk where the McDonald's would be. He said, over there, close to the boarder. We didn't really believe him but guess what. The McDonald's was right on the boarder to Poland. And guess what we did next (after eating an entire meal at McDonalds by myself). We left the country! Well, not really. It is part of the EU, which means we could use our IDs to cross. It was fun. Alrighty. Other fun stories? I don't think so. I'm looking forward to the Prague Trip. THe first family vacation on a train! 4 hours with my family and a book about 1964 after the Germans won WWII... Very interesting.
