Is it possible to die of a hangover?

[ooc: After a crazy afternoon/evening/night of drinking with DS, Gray wound up at Yuuko's shop and tried sake. Liberal amounts of sake. So now he's sprawled out on her floor, completely miserable but back to normal~~and ready to be made fun of. 8D]

death becomes me, hangover from hell, want to die, ds, yuuko, fuck you city

Hangovers are never kind enough to let you die. They keep you around for the misery.

Figures. So you know from experience then, huh?

Oh yeah. I hold a PhD in hangovers.

Water and dry toast. Get yourself rehydrated and try to put something bland on your stomach.

The water, I can do. The toast...ugh. But I guess if I must...

I am never touching sake again. Ever.

Ooof, sake? Yeah, I imagine you're hurting.

Just nibble on it as you're able.

Hurting is an understatement.

Nibble...sounds something a bunny would do.

What was your name, again?

I sort of figured from the wanting to die statement.

Well you could try throwing yourself on it and hoping it soaks into you skin via osmosis?

Haha.

Does osmosis ever work?

...you were Atora's other date, weren't you? I'm Gray.

Eh, depends ... usually when you don't want it to work, which is damn inconvinent.

I was. She dumped me at the ice cream course. I was good and dumped, like a dumped thing that got dumped.

Pleasure to meet you Gray!

I'll eat the toast.

That's...pretty thoroughly dumped. Though Atora's a thorough kind of woman.

Likewise, Jack.

Wise idea.

She is at that but I think we're better as friends anyway. Was just sort of that friend vibe thing rather than anything else.

Good news for me, then. It'd be a pain if she liked both of us in a more than friendly way.

Luckily, not a problem.

Excellent.

So you said you were a captain...of a ship?

RAF retired actually.
