Music Upload [+2 albums]
...I swear I'll get some graphics in as soon as I have enough. I have about 20 Kanon ones at the moment, and I haven't had much inspiration. So I'm going to shove some more music in this community for now. (I know--at this rate, this place will turn into a music journal. Egads. x.x)
dona_serpentina was interested in a one of the bands that I was planning to upload...so I decided to upload it today, while I was feeling rather productive. The other album is one of my *absolute* favorites, so it's worth checking out. ♥

Review: ...not the best, I suppose. Well I expected better from HIGH & MIGHTY. I was so used to their more rockish songs. To be honest, I think that 『Enrai ~Tooku ni Aru Akari~』was probably one of the only few songs worth noting. The vocals are decent, I suppose. But it's nothing like "Ichirin no Hana"... Although, 『Sandome no Sakura』 was another song that was pretty good. They're mellowed out somewhat--not that it's a BAD thing. But I just expected more from this CD. In a way, I'm disappointed because it's shifted a bit towards j-rock a little, especially with most of its music being rather upbeat. In a way this fits in perfectly with the question in my previous post, since HandMC/HIGH & MIGHTY is both j-rock and j-pop, I guess.

Review: I love love love love love this CD. And I love this band to bits. It may not be one of the best CDs if you're a fan of j-pop...but Girugamesh is DEFINITELY worth trying if you're interested in j-rock. There's tons of growling, screaming, and opportunities to headbash (if that's what you desire) whilst listening to this CD. Girugamesh is one of my favorite bands because the vocals are so. Damn. GOOD. Satoshi really makes j-rock a bit more unique because of his voice. You know how bands usually sound a bit weird when they suddenly switch to a slower melody? Definitely not the case with this band. The lead singer has some really decent talent--with a voice that can go really slow and almost hypnotic, to another that pumps you full of adrenaline. (Especially when he growls. 'A') My favorite is definitely 『Owari to Mirai』 mainly because of the varied sounds in that song. It has such a catchy beat to it as well. Really, it's a CD that's definitely worth downloading because they're ALL really great. The one that least appeals to me is probably 『Fukai no Yami』 because it's kind of slow, compared to the rest of 'em. Doesn't mean that it isn't GOOD, though. xDI don't have the first track (13) because it's just a bunch of...basically, "intro" noise. SO BE COOL. Download this.
