Can't decide whether or not I'm enjoying my summer. The thing is, living alone makes me lonely as all hell, but I don't really want to go live at home, either. I think I'm just depressed. The trial is forthcoming again--for real, this time--and... I don't know. I'm just in a funk (I love that phrase). I need more friends, really, is what it amounts

Why do you use "Funk" as a description of badness? That is everything that funk isnt! Listen to some "Mothership Connection" by Parliament and you will see how the funk is good, and it will get into your veins and take away your "funk."
