I AM A MAD PANDA.
Apparently, there is a very large chance my art teacher may be transferred to a different school for the 10-11 school year, and the current graphic design teacher will take over. This is a Very Big Deal to me and most of the other art majors, for two reasons. One, my art teacher is awesome. Awesome teacher, awesome artist, awesome dude. And I owe him a lot for singlehandedly teaching me how to draw well. Second, the current graphic design teacher is a dick. He's the principals son, which I suspect is the only reason he's has a job, and has only been here for less then a year. I had him for a few weeks, and he's a pretty crappy teacher. And yet he's going to be responsible for a majority of the art department.
Another thing: I finally got my prize money...almost a week after they delivered it. And at least $15 dollars is missing. Which doesn't seem like a lot, but that's the minimum that's missing, and multiply it all by four means someone took at least $60 dollars from us winners. And it gets even more suspicious when you learn that the goverment teacher kept it since the 28th to 'count it'. It's on a gift card. How the fuck do you count money on a gift card? And, logically, that should only take a day or two at most. AND IT GETS EVEN MORE SUSPICIOUS WHEN I TELL YOU THAT I ASKED HER ABOUT IT ON TUESDAY AND SHE GOT INSANELY DEFENSIVE.
"Hey Mrs. P, have you heard anything about the money yet?"
"NO!"
"Do you have a phone number I could call about it...?"
"NO THEY DON'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED ABOUT IT ANYWAYS."
All this, plus the district still owes me $50 for being tutored. God damnit.
