Bloody Surrey!!
So I bike all around Vancouver for what, nearly 2 years maybe more, without incident.
I ride in Surrey for *one* day, and get hit by a car.
Some old Chinese guy turning right out of a parking lot while looking left, hits me on the sidewalk (I was on the sidewalk only because I was less than a block away from my departure location, and was getting ready to cross to the RIGHT side of the road at the next intersection.... Officer :) )....
I'm fine, just pretty pissed off. My rear wheel is bent to shit. I was able to ride home but it was like I was holding the brake the entire time. Also, my pedal is bent.
F*ck Surrey! All you clowns who chose to stay here need a psych eval.!
In other news, I found a pair of shoes the other day in the apartment hallway at a friend's place. They're Aldo, brand new (still had a tag!), and most importatly, MY SIZE! Yay for free work shoes!
