Its been only days since Notti came back and he’s been in a lot of trouble. He almost died when Daigo and Jin saw him half naked walking around the house, well Resha can’t blame them, hell she would kill him but for another reason. She was sitting quietly trying to sort out her schedule, Notti sad beside her and asked.
“Hey babe, doing anything today?”
“Aside from sorting out my life,no i think i’m free this afternoon why?”
“Then let’s go out! Its been ages since we went out?
“I don’t know...”
“Why so hesitant babe? It’ll be just like the old times! Only now we can do more things together”
That’s exactly why i don’t wanna go notti, and stop calling me babe already!
Resha remained silent for awhile to think about it, but for Notti silence means yes. So he suddenly grabbed resha by the hand and yelled out to Maia who was in the kitchen
“I’m taking babe out for a date! Will be back before dinner”
But before Maia nor Resha could say anything, she and Notti were out the door leaving Resha’s planner on the table. if Notti hadn’t dragged her so suddenly, she would have read that today was Jin’s important match. And Resha doesn’t miss any important matches, she knows that her presence in the game helps Jin to concentrate, even Coach Gussan says so, when Jin stopped listening to anyone even his coach they all turn to her to give him a good lecturing to get his head back in the game.
“Notti where exactly are you taking me?” she asked as they boarded a taxi
“Well first we’re going to the beach, then go shopping and then have our purikura taken”
“You really planned this didn’t you?”
“Well you could say that. And besides I’m doing this to catch up on you. I wanna know how you’ve been”
That and I need to tell you something
Meanwhile, Jin on the other hand, was preparing for the big match. He tried calling Resha but the other was not answering, he was about to call Maia when coach Gussan called his attention
“Akanishi! Put down that phone and get ready!”
“But... but Mama’s not here yet”
“Maybe she’s just a little late. Don’t worry she doesn’t miss any of your games right? Now focus! The team needs their captain!”
"Hai" he softly replied
Don't worry Jin, Mama will never miss any game

On the other hand, Resha can’t help feel she’ss forgetting something important. She tried shaking the feeling off, but it just wont go away
“Babe are you alright? You’ve been spacing out”
“I felt like I forgot something important. Like I have to attend some event I Just can’t remember what it was” she honestly replied
“Just forget all those feelings and try to have fun okay!”
“oh okay.” She replied with a small smile then Notti decided to pinch her cheeks
“You should keep smiling. That’s one of the reason I was drawn to you. Your smile, your eyes, your face.. your everything”
“Well if you like them so much, I suggest you stop pinching my cheeks”
“Oh sorry” said Kusano as Resha rubbed her pinched cheeks
“So what have you been up to since you left for the states” she suddenly asked with her heart going from zero to sixty in one question. She wanted to know how he’s been and why he’s back
“Well, I’ve been lonely there... no one to talk to, haven’t adjusted for a good two years, met a lot of people, but only few stayed... what about you babe?”
Resha looked at him intensely. She’s not sure if she would answer his question without crying, but she answered nonetheless
“Well babe I’ll be bruttaly honest with you, I was a mess when you left. I mean who wouldn’t be? You left without saying goodbye, even just one last goodbye... or something to tell me you’re leaving...” then tears suddenly fell on her eyes
“Oh heck, now I’m crying” she said faking a laugh while Notti just watched his best friend wiping away her tears that just wont stop falling
“Oh babe...” then Notti hugged his best friend so tight “Babe.. I’m so sorry”
Hearing him apologize to her made her cry more. It felt weird to be hugging Notti this way, sure they’ve hugged before but now, she can feel that Notti grew up to be one fine man... in every sense of the word. While in his embrace, she saw someone playing soccer and then it hit her. She broke from his comfortting embrace and looked at Notti
“I remembered what I’m supposed to do today”
“What?”
“Oh lord, Jin will kill me” she exclaimed then dragged Notti to get a taxi as soon as possible
