Did anyone else wake up this morning with the sensation that they just got dropped on their head? Because I did and now I've got this egg shaped bruise on my cheek that won't go away. So far I've been able to handle the acorns and the weird spaceship-like things that keep shooting at me on my way to work. But random injury delivered by unknown means? That's ridiculous. Just the other day I was at the kabob stand and I could have sworn I had the wind knocked out me by literally nothing.
Please somebody tell me this is -- unjustifiably -- another thing that just happens around here. Otherwise, I'm calling my lawyer.

Oh, and for the record, poaching dinosaurs out of their -- arguably -- natural habitat for the sake of some sick guy's science experiments is not okay. In any way.
[ ooc :: for those of you unfamiliar, in canon, Gertrude Yorkes shares a telepathic/empathic link with Old Lace, her 'pet' dinosaur, which is her 'superpower'. When Old Lace is hurt, Gertrude feels it, and since Old Lace is currently wandering around the Jurassic Park Wilderness, I assume that she faught with another dinosaur who tossed her off of a shallow cliff and thus, Ran suffered the effects. ]
