I've been thinking, and the thing is, I love you.

Honestly I feel like I've been updating this thing so much and mostly out of a need to procrastinate. But eh, what can you do?

Last weekend was pretty fun. Rockin' Sushi was cool despite my not being adventurous with food. But I got to see lots of nice friends that I haven't seen in a super long time and Theresa has a new PT Cruiser and its so awesome and Karen has cool shoes and Jinra is just cool all-over. We saw "Napoleon Dynamite" which didn't meet my expectations but still is better than most summer fare out in theaters. Lately it has been really hard to deem a movie or script good because for the most part they are pretty terrible. And I'm trying to think more critically, not just say "Yeah, I wasn't into it" or "It sucked" because well, i'm not 5. So now its more like "It had no clear objective making it devoid of any structure." "It's attempts at being any sort of genre were misguided and confusing... it's trash." Well, okay, maybe not as pompous as that but I've had to read a couple scripts at work and give a critique on them so it's caused me to delve into the vocabulary section of my brain a lot more.

I did see "In America" which was pretty amazing and I recommened highly. One of the few movies I've been able to see that I didn't really have anything bad to say about. "Dodgeball" was pretty funny, too. on another note, I totally saw Will Ferrell yesterday! I was driving down Hollywood Blvd. and they were having the "Anchorman" premiere and he was out front getting his picture snapped by tons of people. :D

I guess I should probably go put on real clothes instead of hanging out in my pajamas all day. Until then... go bake a cake.

p.s. jonna, don't know if you got my text or not but d-land tonight or thursday? hmm??
