I wish the world was flat like the old days
I love having a month off from school. Just enough to have some non-stressing time but not enough to make me bored silly. I went to an orientation meeting last night for this volunteer thing I'm doing at the Independent Spirit Awards. It's the first time I actually put the effort into doing something like this because we do get lots of opportunities to volunteer and apply for internships. It seems neat though, we just have to go in twice to help out in the office or in screenings for the voters and maybe get picked for the actual awards ceremony (there's too many volunteers for us all to be involved in it). Sadly there were no spaces to help out at the "Lost in Translation" screenings but I should've guessed those would have gone quickly. [p.s. buddyhead reports that sofia and spike are getting divorced :-/ ] In any case wish me luck in meeting a charming big-time producer who just insists on taking me under their wings thus leading me to take over their occupation in the event of their untimely death. kidding, kidding.
