officially, i am a graduate now!

so graduation was nice. it was actually more fun and less boring than i expected. of course, Zach (Spicer) and i made fun of all the speakers who used "over" instead of "more than" in their speeches. LOL

this weekend was so insane, but it was fun. we had a smaller turnout for my party than expected. all of my dad's family showed up except my grandpa, and hardly none of my mom's family showed up. however, with our small house, there was enough people there. i did receive some nice gifts...mostly money, which was what i wanted so i could by myself a new digital camera or an iPod, but i also got a really nice graduate picture frame and a #1 graduate bear. they were cute. we took lots of pictures, too.

all in all i had a nice time. i was disappointed in a few people who didn't show at the party or graduation. however, i appreciated those who did come.

Sunday i snuck out of all the craziness that surrounded my graduation and went to Kellen's 1st birthday party. it was fun! i wouldn't have missed it for the world. i expected more people to show, but he got lots of fun toys to drive mom and dad crazy with. he also wasn't very excited about smearing yellow cake icing all over himself, which was rather cute. i was really glad i went.

oh, and since i was in the neighborhood, i stopped into Wal-Mart in Clarksville to introduce myself to Dave. we chatted a bit, then we made semi-plans for Tuesday, which is today and he hasn't called, so i'm guessing there will be no plans. hmmm....as much as i want to go out with him, it would be kinda nice just to enjoy this last day off (since i've been off for four days and have been busy) before i go back to work.

thanks to anyone and everyone who may have helped me achieve my goal of graduating from college...it has been an experience like no other, and it is only the beginning...
