an accomplishment for me...
well, i filed my very own taxes for the first time ever. it wasn't so hard. i did it online, so all i had to do was answer some questions and give them some numbers. only one problem --- i didn't like the numbers they gave me. i will receive $333 from federal, and i have to pay $102 to state. it sucks - especially when some of my friends talk about how they get $800-900. of course, it is because my parents still claim me because i live under their roof. this is the last year though, so hopefully next year will be better. usually, when i get "extra" money, i make plans for what i'm getting. this time though, i have no plans. i have accumulated more debt since i paid off all my credit cards, so i'd like to get back to that point of no credit card debt. it depends. i may use my tax money to pay for those, or i may decide just to spend it on myself. who knows?!?!
i'm excited about this weekend. my parents, brother, and i are going to a Pacers-Pistons game on Saturday, and then it's the Super Bowl on Sunday. yah! Go Steelers! we are having a mini-Super Bowl party since no one has to work on Monday.
