on the road...to recovery...
yesterday, i went to the doctor. i hate going to the doctor, but sometimes you just have to go. after rest and medicine, i wasn't getting any better, so i knew i had to go.
for the first time ever, i was examined by a man. he is actually my family doctor, but since he and his wife have a practice together, i usually see her. it wasn't all that bad. it made me feel somewhat uncomfortable, but he was very nice and i might not even mind seeing him again. well, except for when i go for my "female exam" as he called it.
i was diagnosed with URI, which at first freaked me out. then, he told me it was an upper respiratory infection. so he prescribed me two medicines, wrote me a doctor's excuse and i was on my way. after waiting in the doctor's office for about an hour-and-a-half, i had to wait at the pharmacy for another hour for my medicine.
now, i understand why Tylenol Cold wasn't helping me - because i don't have a cold. so hopefully this medicine will help me. i've missed school again today. the doctor recommended i take another day off. i guess it's a good thing since it's all rainy outside.
tomorrow, it's back to work and school - hopefully.
