Orientation Day

Apr 28, 2008 16:05

::Omi approaches the door to Aya's room. Surely it's late enough in the day that a Yohji, even a potentially grieving one, would be awake on his own. There are things to discuss. Omi knocks hard on the door.::

Sitting outside on the fire escape brooding just isn't the same without the booze and cigarettes, but with Aya's cat curled up on his lap purring slightly, it's still not a bad way to pass the time. Yohji isn't sure if it's the cat or him that's more soothed by the petting.

A hard knock? At this place, it isn't a Ken to demand that Yotan show up for his shift. Therefore it must be a determined Omi. Probably. Yohji morosely wonders if he'll have to learn a new set of knocks.

It's comfortable here, so he just turns his head to call back into the room, "Yeah?"

::...yeah, that's definitely a Yohji.:: Can I come in? There are things we should talk about. And the door is locked.

::Omi had quietly tried the doorknob before knocking, so he knows it's locked. Anyway, Aya always locks up before he leaves in the morning.::

A locked door? Weird. Yohji sighs and apologizes to Neko-chan for having to get up. That was a nice sunbeam they'd found. Keys are... where? Oh. Right.

He gets the door open eventually. "What's up, chibi?"

::Sober and dressed? Excellent signs. Damn, he feels awkward.:: I wanted to see how you were holding up. There will be an adjustment period, and both sides will have to make some accomodations....

::That sounded like they were having a business meeting. It's hard being in this home and talking to a Yohji who doesn't have any history with him.:: Is there anything I can get for you to make your stay more comfortable?
