Matzah ball soup, NYC and the ROLLING STONES!

My dad’s clients had an extra ticket to see the Stones, so they asked him if he wanted to go. He said not particularly, but that he had a daughter (me) who might like to go. So I saw the Rolling Stones at the SkyDome. On the floor. 22nd row from the stage. I was so close. I could SEE them. And it was the most amazing night ever. The 3 old people I went with were so much fun. Everybody there was dancing. Like, old people, middle aged couples, 20 something guys and little kids. It was crazy. At one point, I had my arms around a bunch of people I didn’t know, and we were all dancing and singing along. I met this girl, Sam, who was 18 and from Port Perry, and she was so cool. We danced the whole 2 and a half hours they played. This group of 20 something year old guys kept coming over and dancing VERY close to us, and we would make faces at each other but keep dancing anyway. It was AMAZINg. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Second o OLP, of course.

So yeah, it’s Rosh Hashanah tomorrow night! I love Jewish holidays. Good food, big parties, happy people.

And New York on FRIDAY. Ack, I’m so excited. Maggie and Sebastian seem to have planned a day for us that involves shopping in Soho among other things.

My week is looking incredibly busy, but things are happy. Like, really happy. And I had Jenna and Alexis over otday to work on our Expo Francophone Morocco project, and it was quite productive. We went bristol board shopping, which was exciting. It was ok that Mark and Nicole cancelled last minute.

And dinner’s almost ready! Yay!
