So what happened? Kensuke said that Rei blew up her Eva. But he was also all hero like and I was hoping to get the full story from you.

Well, it's always pretty hard to tell with the Angels... but I think this one somehow fused with Rei, or Unit 00, or something. I don't think we could hurt it without hurting her.

Then she used her AT field to pull the Angel inside Unit 00 and self-destructed it.

And Rei sacrifice herself... I know what you mean. I should understand more than anyone what that feels like but...
