complaining + two fandom memes
Why is no one in the 3:00 Japanese 2C class? T_T And by "no one" I mean "seven people," including me. I think the class will be canceled if we don't get at least twelve people in it? If it does get canceled I'm going to have to try to get into one of the other two 2C classes and redo my schedule around Japanese. And that means I'd have to drop Figure Drawing, which the art department doesn't offer often, and if I have do that I will be a sad, sad, panda. People are going to see me emo for the first time. Well, okay, probably not, because by the time I get back from a spring break full of FFXII and Phoenix Wright I'll be all "Wheee, wacky laywers! Wheee, Balthier's hot! Oh, I have classes of some kind now?" and be totally over it. But still.^^;
I was going to start worrying about canceled summer classes too, since the classes I want to take are rather...specific, not the general ed. stuff most people take over the summer. But then I figure that everyone but me will sign up for summer session later so I can postone worrying until the end of spring quarter.^^;

Meme #1:
1. Eagle (Magic Knights Rayearth)-I have to list him as he was my first animated crush. At least, the first one I remember. Sailor Moon was the first anime I got into, so my first animated crush probably came from there. I don't remember who though, only that it sure as hell wasn't Tuxedo Mask. Anyway, back to Eagle. He's named after a car, and pilots a mecha that is also named after a car. And his voice, provided by Ogata Megumi, is kinda smexy. Okay, so it's a smexy woman's voice. >_> And hot damn, you haven't heard smexy-female-voiced-male-character until you've heard Ogata as Ruthenburg from Animamundi. Uh, moving on.
2. Kyon (The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi)- What can I say? He's a normal guy (the only one in the main cast) and the series would not have been nearly as entertaining without his cynical narration and his reactions to all the oddities around him. I'm gar for Archer Itsuki for Kyon! Except that as a woman I can't really say that.
3. Hanatarou (Bleach)- Yes, I pick him out of a series that delivers such fine specimens as Ukitake, Renji, Shuuhei, and Byakuya other fangirls claimed them all before I could but I didn't want them anyway. I found a Hanatarou fanlisting called Cute, Clumsy, and Clueless. I think that about sums it up. BTW, the Bleach runner-up is Chad. I really ought to catch up to Bleach someday.
4. Fakir (Princess Tutu)- He's one of my favorite characters in anything ever, but I almost didn't put him on this list because he's from a magical girl show aimed at what, ten-year-olds? Even if ADV did give it a rating of 13+. Oh yeah, anyone who hasn't seen Princess Tutu: DON'T LET THE BALLET AND THE CUTENESS AND THE WORDS "MAGICAL GIRL" PUT YOU OFF 'CAUSE I ALMOST AVOIDED THIS ANIME BECAUSE OF THOSE THINGS AND I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T 'CAUSE IT'S SO COOL IT MAKES ME TYPE RUN-ON SENTENCES IN ALL CAPS. And this became more about Princess Tutu in general than Fakir, oops.
5. Shikamaru (Naruto)- ...brains are sexy?
6. Howl (Howl's Moving Castle)- I just watched this movie again and was reminded of how much I liked Howl. He's eccentric and charming and he literally summons spirits of darkness when he goes emo. He is also, in my opinion, the hottest Miyazaki guy (he looks kind of like a grown-up Haku!). The book version is fun too.
7. Katsuya (Persona 2)- See icon. Also, he bakes! His brother's hot too, but if I had to pick one I'd take Katsuya without a second thought.
8. Sanji (One Piece)- I admit this is because I'd want him to make me dinner first.
9. Ace (One Piece)- Because I'm still on a One Piece kick. He may be a real minor character, but hey, he's Luffy's badass older and more polite brother. [insert terrible pun about his being hot] OP honorable mentions: Shanks (as wingit909said, someone that old shouldn't be so hot XD) and Kohza.
10. Mori (Ouran High School Host Club)- You know, "lovely item" Hunny-sempai really does make him that much more appealing. XD But being quiet, reserved, loyal...he's plenty appealing on his own.
...Oh hey, I actually remembered all those guys in one sitting. I didn't have to put "Gar for Oscar" in any of those spots. XD No, I couldn't think of any guys from any of the books I read. I tried, too.
Meme #2:
01. Post this on your journal.
