(no subject)
So basically I've applied for this Production Assistant job at a place in the Presidio called the Orphanage. Its a movie special effects joint with a good reputation, and currently about to start on the Sin City adaptation by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. HO-LEEE shit. This job however, would require me to take the year off of school. I dont know whether or not i really should do this, but what the hell. Its a career jump ey? A full time job for a respectable company.
At my interview they said that I may have to start next week, and that would jeapordize comic con for me. My brother works at this place, and he said that they dont really need me next week (this is also supported by a friend of the boss). So, now it wont end comic con for me, that is, IF i'm hired. this is all really confusing and scary. Its getting really close.
anyway. If i did have to work through the Con i'd still let the guys take my van. I'd lie to my mom, and say that i'm going. Geeeeez.
NOTE: I'd still go on the weekend. That would require me to fly in on friday and fly back on sunday. YIKES! This is all really heavy. I'll know by friday if i'm hired. Cross your fingers for the best possible outcome.
