Your highs and lows--they are both one and the same.

So, I've been waiting for Friday for pretty much a year or so.

Friday, October 20, 2007, Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette opens.

If you don't know how seriously excited about this I am, well, you probably don't know anything about me at all.

I seriously will go see this movie by myself, but of course, I would rather not. So, if you are seriously excited about this movie coming out, or have nothing to do at all tomorrow afternoon, or haven't really seen me lately (or perhaps have been ignoring my phone calls for a while, like Mackenzie and Emily have) feel free to go with me!

Now, I'm sure I'm going to get a comment from someone stating, "Oh, I heard that movie got booed at Cannes. Why would I want to see that?"

In response, I would like to point out that:
  1. It was one person. One person booed at the Cannes Film Festival.
  2. Cannes is in France. The French are not too crazy about a movie about Marie Antoinette starring an American starlet (which, in my opinion, is the only real way to portray the Queen), so they are prejudiced from the start.
So, seriously, you should come. It'll be great.

And in the mean time, if you want to hang out with me at SOGO this evening, I would also not complain.
