i'm at home now, and it is very nice. i've been home three of the four weekends of college so far. i am commuting on a weekly basis. i kindof like what i did this weekend though: it's more like going on a sleepover to my house than going home for the weekend, and i have friday night to hang out and be collegy. today i woke up late, which was nice, and then went to brunch with the band people. after that i finished packing, and trecked down to 7th and liberty for my bus. i apparantly went an excessivly long way, and with my aching thighs (from the indian dancing) and my heavy bookbag, it seemed even longer. but anyway, i got to the bus stop about 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival, and the bus proceeded to be almost 40 minutes late, so i stood and waited for the 50 minutes, but it was ok, i got to people watch, which is always fun. the bus ride was nice, i got a good chunk of my reading for logic and rhetoric out of the way.
i got home and took a nap in between the million and one phone calls to make plans for tonight. the final plan: alina, conor, benestelli, and i were to eat food and meet rumin at carmike cinemas for the exorcism of emily rose (creepy, good, but still creepy). guido called conor, however, on the way to food, and we pulled a u-ie (sp?) and swung back to conor's to see guido and meet emma, the mystery girl. then we went to monte cello's, conor spilled water all over me, but it was still a good time. then we went to the movie and saw kevin and bought lots of food so he'd let us in for free (thanks kevin!) the movie was scary. alina and i were curled up in a ball the whole time, conor seemed ... plussed, and benestelli seemed kinda freaked out too. rumin didn't really seem to react much. we then returned to good old sewickley (away from the ghosties) for benestelli to get his car and alina and conor and i hung out in my house and drank cocoa and looked at old pictures and reminisced. then they left and i updated my livejournal.
