Talking to people about music on Facebook chat isn't a good idea if I'm trying to avoid making more music posts. But fuck, I really need to, even though I JUST made one yesterday. This is some good shit.
1. "Heartbeats" - the Knife
This track is #1 on Hypem's popularity list, and it makes me proud like you don't even know. I love this band, and especially this song. It's amazing on so many levels. (This isn't new to my playlist, btw, but I thought it deserved some recognition. ;D)
2. "New In Town (Fred Falke Remix)" - Little Boots
I love this. It's awesome, and I plan on writing a fanfic based on it as soon as I get the chance. I also find it kind of interesting that I've been listening to Fred Falke's remixes for quite some time without even realizing it until now.
3. "Stuck on Repeat (Fake Blood Remix)" - Little Boots
I was discreetly jamming to this in my car on the way to a friend's house today, trying to not attract the attention of any cops because I'm pretty sure it's illegal to use headphones while you're driving. Oh well, though, the law can suck it. :D
4. "Toxic (16 Bit Dubstep Remix)" - Yael Naim
I kind of liked the original version of this, but with Yael singing it, the lyrics become 100x better. I love her voice and style, and now I have a new favorite.
5. "Hearts Collide" - Little Boots
I know I put a lot of Little Boots into this list, but I don't fucking care - she is amazing. Listen to this.
6. "Starry Eyed (Velos Wild Eyed Edit) " - Ellie Goulding
This is SO good. I stumbled on this by accident - highly recommend it.
7. "A Place for Us (Monsieur Adi Remix)" - Reni Lane
Not much to say about this one... it's just dreamy and sets you up for floating.
8. "Bermuda" - Kisses
I have no idea why I'm on such a love song trip right now, but I am. This song is no exception, and I love it because it's so lovely. <3
9. "We Won't Stop (Redial Remix) " - Barretso
This is seriously fucking amazing. I don't even know how people do this shit, because it's amazing. Mind-blowingly amazing.
10. "Intro Like This (The XX vs. Mims)" - DJ E
I like the original song, I like the XX, and I definitely like the two mixed together. A whole friggin lot.
My god I need to stop downloading music before I get arrested or something. Not to mention, I have more important things to be doing. But oh well... right now, in my little world, life is just about perfect. :)
