Rukia. I hope that you have not capitulated to rampant emotion at the Octava's last post. I am confident that you are holding the 13th in tight discipline.
I need to speak to you about Renji. I am certain that he will come to you if he has not already, but I believe you will also be a voice of reason to him and not condone his brashly running off to die at the hands of the Octava. I would have him await the plan that Soutaichou is assuredly making right now ...but his passion leads him. Indeed, I have not previously seen such... livid, ungoverned rage in him.
This matter with the Octava will not remain unresolved. His destruction is in the interest of the Gotei and the others in the living world. Because we can bring such a unified force against the Octava, it would be completely inadvisable for Renji to immediately lead a mere handful of people there.
