...is the seam ripper/cutting implement/measuring tape always on the opposite side of the table? WHY?
Also, Pandora, why do you keep playing John Mayer every five gorram minutes when I have thumbs-down'd 10+ versions of his songs? How many versions of his stuff do you have? I give anything else a thumbs down and you won't play that artist for a whole day! I DON'T WANT A JOHN MAYER STATION. If I did, I would have made one. RAWR RAWR FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS RAWR.
Franklin & Bash yay! Sort of late. But I did watch last Tuesday, and it was gloriously ridiculous. Aside from Jared in the tank in the courtroom (er, and the peacock, the skirt, and the eyeliner/lipstick), I actually think my favorite part was the conversation(s) between Pindar and Carmen. Yay backstory! Now how about some more on Carmen?
I've realized that Person of Interest is the first show, ever, that I've gone out of my way to watch repeats of when I've already seen the eps the first time around. *baffle* I will turn the TV off in a huff if I see reruns during the regular broadcast season, and send it angry glares the for rest of the night. And once the season is over, I sort of... ignore broadcast channels (strangely, I have no issue watching repeats on cable channels...). But no. Every Thursday at 9:00 I am planted firmly to watch my repeat. Show, what have you done? Even when I was in fairytale love with H5-0 last year I did not sit down to watch repeats. (I watched some, but on the interwebs.)
I found a beautiful thumbnail-sized chunk of red/peach agate on the beach on Sunday after jogging. Or colored quartz. I really don't know what the difference is, especially with such a small piece. The internet is not very helpful, because apparently there is a hot debate over whether to classify things as quartz, chalcedony, or agate. So I really don't care - they're pretty rocks, translucent or transparent, and I collect them. Red-leaning ones are rare, so I was happy to find this one. Of course, I also found a crapload of styrofoam. We seem to be getting hit with a styrofoam current lately - it's been all over the beach. Ugh. Also, people finding Japanese plastic floats and freaking out - “they're from the tsunami!” Well, yes, they could be. But I find Japanese floats on the beach every month or, depending on the amount of crap washing in, every week. Since forever. Japanese water bottles or other drink bottles? 15+ a day, if I walked the whole beach. (Which just makes me want Calpico... OMG, my mouth is watering, damn it.) Find something I don't normally see - like the
60-foot Japanese DOCK that arrived in Agate Beach last week - and I will be impressed. Your plastic float? Does not impress.
