not my day
Dear Safeway Patron,
I hope you're having a good week! I'm sure you're enjoying the depressing overcastness unrelenting rain bouts of hail lovely weather we're having. I know I sure am!
I totally understand that when you're having so much fun, it's easy to lose track of things. You know, like the plastic bag and receipt that must have just jumped out your car window of their own accord. It's hard to keep an eye on them, I get it.
But maybe next time you feel like running out to Safeway at 6:04 on a Saturday evening for ice cream and chocolate cups (whatever those are), you could at least keep a leash on the little buggers until you got home. I know it would make my neighborhood walks a lot more pleasant! I'm sure the wildlife would appreciate it too.
But, you know, whatever. Keep using the street as a landfill! It's all the same to me!

It's spring break, and the number of plastic bags on the sides of the roads - as well as beer cans, how horrifying is that - has tripled. I'm a little irate. The rain is not improving my mood. :( I'm sure I'll be less bitter if the sun comes out. *crosses fingers*
