- At present, Natalie is 18 years old, but looks older; this is largely due to the cocktail of drugs she was injected with upon graduation of the Spartan III program.
- Natalie was taken into the program at age four, following the destruction of her homeworld by the Covenant. She has no memory of her life prior to the program, but is reasonably certain that she is from Jericho VII, since many of the other Spartans in her company came from there around the same time.
- At 14, she received the Project Chrysanthemum augmentations and was reassigned from Beta Company to solo operations in the summer of 2545. Unlike the Spartans of Beta Company (or other Spartan IIIs), she was issued the Mjolnir Mark IV armor. Outside of the armor, she's 5'10"; with it on, she's 6'1".
- To facilitate interface with her suit, Natalie keeps her hair short, just a little bit longer than this.
