oh god rinna those hugboxes are real. when i was working at the daycare, a program for 'challenged infants and toddlers' rented the room next to my two year old room. they were like 'if you hear screams, don't come in and don't be alarmed. at times a child will beput in a baket hanging from the ceiling by rope to calm them down.' etc etct
see, they can do what they want, but i want to know what dumbass decided to smack down that program between the two year old babies room and the 3-4 year olds room. keep in mind all that was upstairs was a room for infants, a room for crawling-1 and then one for 1-2. we had an empty room upstairs that was almost as large as the empty one downstairs. i they intended to rent out a room, why knock down the wall between the empty room and the crawlers room? restructure downstairs to have all our children. then there's more rentable without scarring the children.
if i ever, ever make my dream of running a daycare when i retire, i am sure as hell making sure the kids are mentally safe too.
