went to a concert at the opera house on sunday night. glad that i went despite the onset of sickness on saturday. definately a very talented musician.
have had this week off work sick. probably could have gone back yesterday, but why bother when i hate the place and my certificate was for the whole week?
heard on wednesday night about the outcome of an informal interview that i had at another lab last week. they'd be happy to have me, but i'm basically out of their price range at my base wage. their way of getting around that is to go casual, and the casual loading and shift loading would almost make it equal to what i'm on. the question now is whether i'd be prepared to risk that in order to get out of a situation.... even temporarily until something better came along. risky at the least. i have a few more days to think about iit anyways.
i filed the last of the paperwork for the divorce today... should all be completed on the 20th november, with it coming into effect just before christmas. it's weird to be seeing the end of something that has taken up two fifths of my life.
