hunny finally has sound back again after four months. yay for
monkey_kplunk and the random pressing of buttons =)
nan had a fall yesterday, so dad spent all day and the evening at hospital with her. luckily turns out that nothing was broken this time, just a dislocated shoulder. still means that she can't be alone for a week or so, but that is being taken care of by her ever-loving (read brown-nosing) daughter-in-law.
preparing at home to get everything out of storage once erin takes her things to the toronto house. only a couple of weeks left. trying to encourage mum to get rid of a lot of things she was keeping on the "just-in-case" scenario, just taking up space. if she doesn't, i'm not convinced that all my things will fit.
anyway, convinced once again that my workplace sucks balls, so am beginning the quest for a new job (again). hopefully there is somewhere out there without all the politics that exist here. i feel that everyone is against me here because i won't play into their petty games. no matter what i do it isn't enough, isn't right etc. i've spent too much time working at jobs where you're made to feel like crap to put up with it anymore. for once am going to look after myself and get out as soon as i can. at least i am in a much better frame of mind to make it happen this time.
