I just got done with the FE exam. For those that don't know already, it's a brutal slog of 8 hours of engineering problems. The difficulty of the questions isn't that high (at least I don't think so) so I feel it's more of an endurance test. I did spend a long time studying for it, but probably not nearly as much as most of the people in the room. I studied for maybe 30 hours total, most of it in front of the TV. I think that it probably improved my score by a little, but I think I probably could have passed it without having studied, given that you only need about 50% and I feel like I got about 80%. I feel like after 4 years of classes you should be able to guess 50% of the answers without actually working the problem.
To prove how hardcore I am, during my lunch break I rode over to Rudder Fountain and helped the fencing team with the pre-football fund raiser. It annoys me that only one of the officers was there. Only two of those missing had good excuses to not be there. I'm starting to think that the Heavy Metal is going to suck shit if I don't take charge...
