Star Wars
I wonder exactly how many blog entries this week are titles something like this.
Today, after I determined that the girl in the office in fact lied to me, and there was no one to discuss my water bill, I packed up everything and drove to Blake's new place. I had to make an uncommon number of U-turns to find it, but in the end I got there. I played Gradius for a while before we got underway for a journey to the Woodlands to watch Star Wars III on the enormous screen there. I am so out of practice at DDR, it's bad really. I'm down to like 7 foot or something. I couldn't even pass V, one of my favorites.
As for the movie, I think that I have to side with David on this being the best Star Wars movie to date, counting the ones from the 70s. I was really surprised. Aside from the generally very sub-par performance from Hayden Christensen, the whole movie was quite good. There are of course numerous little quibbles, but that's true of any movie with sci-fi qualities. As Blake was discussing earlier, I give this movie a resounding "not-meh".
