JURY DUTY IS HELL!!!
Had to go to jury duty today.
Got to Oakland at at 7:30 the building didn't open until 8 so I stood outside for half and hour.
Got into the waiting room, was told that the first group would be called at 9, it was really called at 9:30.
I, of course, was in the third and final group.
(All of the other groups when called were told what floor to go to and left right away.)
My group was called at 10:30 but was told that they didn't know where we were going go until 11:30, so I sat around for an hour. Then at 11:30 we were told that we had to go to the buliding arcoss the street but they didn't need us until 1:30. So I sat around for another 2 hours.
Went to the other buliding at 1:30 and after being there until 4:30, aka all day, I have to come back tomorrow bc they didn't have enough time to choose the jury!!!
So tomorrow I will drive back to Oakland so I can be there at 9 bright and early!
