Since hell if I know what I'm doing with Albert at the moment. C-canon shakes get me every other week or so and it's not fun if I don't have the manga on hand and--
Yeah okay I do this for pretty much every character I play unless someone does it first can you blame me.
Book 1:
HUGO: Do you believe in ghosts, Jimba?
JIMBA: Ghosts?
HUGO: Lulu and I saw something today--down by the river.
LULU: What the heck's that?
HUGO: Something's glowing!
LULU: People?
HUGO: Ssh!
DESTROYERS: ... ... ... the flame ... at the border ... the ruins ...
HUGO: They're gone!
JIMBA: ... did you tell anyone about this?
HUGO: No, not yet.
JIMBA: I see.
HUGO: ?
JIMBA: Uh, I just remembered something. Sorry, I've got to run. While I'm gone, uh, don't talk about what you saw, okay?
Book 2:
SARAH: It's no good--the door won't open.
LUC: Nothing works ... ?
SARAH: The spell left here by Cyndar ... will not break easily ...
YUBER: Just how long do we follow you around before you're convinced? So far, only one target's gotten away ...
ALBERT: We can't let him get away, Yuber ...
LUC: ... all this means is that we can't open the door of fate. Perhaps it is the fate of the world ... let's go. We have an appointment to keep.
Book 3:
DUKE: Sasarai, the Bishop, and that strategist Albert both gave big-shot speeches.
ALBERT: Our objective is to get the Fire Bringer! And after we hunt down those thieving vermin, we shall bring peace to their lands!
SASARAI: We pray that this battle will restore peace to both Harmonia and the Grasslands.
[further on, there is a
panel of Albert directing the Harmonian army.]
Book 4:
10 leagues from the Chisha Clan lands, at the Harmonian base camp.
ALBERT: Our engineer battalions are preparing to use the Safir Clan lands as a foothold to invade the rest of the Grasslands. In the meantime, our main force will topple the Chisha Clan. After we link the three lands of Le Buque, Safir and Chisha together, we'll have a secure supply route.
Once we've established that, we'll be able to invade the Grasslands with no chance of our battle lines being cut off. After that, we'll expand our lines to take possession of the Grasslands. The clans known as the bravest among the Six Clans--the Lizard and the Karaya--have had their military strength worn down by continuous battles with the Zexen Federation. They should now be taken down easily. After we have taken all the clans, our armies can return to our homeland to regroup and resupply. And then we'll start our war on the Zexen.
SASARAI: I see you have a great plan as always, but--what will you do about the Flame Champion?
ALBERT: Do not concern yourself. I also have plans for him. The Fire Bringers have been seen in the surrounding lands. It is only a matter of time before we capture the Flame Champion.
SASARAI: ... ... ... I'm thirsty, Dios.
DIOS: Yes, sir! Bring tea!
SOLDIER: Yes, sir!
SASARAI: By the way ... is that masked Bishop a friend of yours? My subordinate said he saw him talking with you.
ALBERT: Ah, no ... we only spoke because we're both Harmonian soldiers who have sworn loyalty to his Majesty, the Priest-General.
SOLDIER: Here you are.
SASARAI: Well, never mind that. I look forward to seeing you in action, Albert.
ALBERT: Yes, sir ... thank you very much.
--
ALBERT: Just what is ... the meaning of this?
COMMANDER: Sir! Our forces were advancing, until the Chisha people used tactics we could never have foreseen! We also had no way of anticipating the assault by those other Grassland reinforcements!
ALBERT: Just why do you think I entrusted the Le Buque forces to you? How could you have failed to defeat the enemy? You had the strength of the ground forces combined with the firepower of the Le Buque forces. Those Grasslander reinforcements were, of course, a surprise to us all ... but even with them, I'm sure you had enough soldiers.
COMMANDER: I--I ... those Mantor trainers were useless! The villagers sent up a little smoke and a whole line of them just ran off! Because of their cowardice, the entire operation was spoiled!
DIOS: Enough! I've heard about your starving the Le Buque forces. And about you ordering them to go in as the first wave--without any cover! If you had given them enough backup from the ground forces when the Chisha sent up their smoke, the Le Buque could still have pevailed with their quick mobility and great firepower! You have forgotten that on the battlefield, it doesn't matter if you're a first-class or third-class citizen--all that matters is your fighting strength. I will notify you of your punishment later ... leave!
[the COMMANDER heads out.]
SASARAI: I've heard a rumor that the Le Buque troops were clamoring about the "Resurrection of the Flame Champion."
ALBERT: Yes, sir. I've also heard that the chief of the Chisha Village was once a lover of the Flame Champion. If you think about it, that seems quite believable ... but ... if the Flame Champion really had appeared, why would they resort to such child's play?
SASARAI: True! If the Flame Champion were there, wouldn't the Grassland troops have been more spirited?
[a rustling outside the tent.]
SASARAI: Could you two leave for awhile?
DIOS: Yes, sir!
Book 5:
[The Harmonian troops are on a slope overlooking their camp, watching as the Lizards' predicated night attack is routed.]
SASARAI: Well done, Albert! It all went just as you said it would.
ALBERT: A simple tactic like this was just standard practice.
SASARAI: You're far too modest. Are all the Silverbergs like you?
ALBERT: We launch our troops at dawn. Let's get going.
--
LUCIA: Where is the Harmonian general!? I am Lucia, chief of the Karaya clan! I would like to speak to you before the battle, on behalf of the Flame Champion!
CAESAR: Wow, just like the old days. Is this how it is in the Grasslands?
LUCIA: How about it?!
CAESAR: Oh my! Thier leader is coming out ...
[SASARAI, DIOS and ALBERT ride out from the main body of the army. CAESAR trains his ... telescope thing on them.]
CAESAR: Why, that's--!
APPLE: Caesar?
CAESAR: A--Albert?!
--
SASARAI: You think my mission will end here, Albert?
ALBERT: Yes, you just confirmed that the Flame Champion isn't here. Which means we can use the insect troops without concern.
SASARAI: You've been quite the slave driver to this Bishop, strategist.
ALBERT: We also have learned that the Grassland troops aren't ironclad. Relations don't seem to be going well between the clans--further proof that there is no Flame Champion. In fact, that would appear to be true beyond a doubt.
SASARAI: I'll leave the remaining details to you. I've had to shout so much, I've gotten a bit thirsty.
Book 6:
CAESAR: That's right--the Harmonian advisor was Albert Silverberg ... my older brother.
LUCIA: Which means that you're Leon's--
CAESAR: Leon Silverberg was my grandfather.
LUCIA: I made Leon's acquaintance in the Dunan Unification war. He was an exceptionally talented tactician. Why did you hide your Silverberg name until now?
CAESAR: What--I should wear a nametag or something? I should say that I intimately understand Albert's way of thinking. He's no normal foe--he's read our every move before we make it. No one's forcing you to use my plans--but please, hear me out!
LUCIA: All right.
--
SASARAI: What are the battle conditions?
ALBERT: Sir. Our army has secured the Chisha Clan lands and is now setting up camp. The retreating enemy force is small and their complement of civilians is slowing them down.
DIOS: Are we closing in on them?
ALBERT: So far, they've been able to elude us. The Lizards excel in nighttime operations. Also, our mounted troops and heavy equipment keep getting bogged down when they cross the wetlands. I think we should let them rest for a bit.
SASARAI: Those wetlands are truly terrible! Water in your shoes! Horseflies! Mosquitoes!
ALBERT: According to surveillance reports, the Duck Clan are being forced to provide support to the surrounding lands and their provisions are running low. Therefore, the most effective plan would be to surround the Duck Clan lands--and lay siege to them.
DIOS: Lord Sasarai! Some messengers are here from the Grasslanders.
SASARAI: Show them in.
DIOS: Yes, sir!
SOLDIERS: Messengers seeking a truce? Why ask for that now ... ? Maybe we've got them all scared!
DIOS: Well, what's all this about?
MUA: Moved by the sorrows of our comrades, we have come to ask for a truce! We're willing to consider a new treaty, even one that would grant you great concessions--such as the ones detailed in this message.
ALBERT: ... ... ...
MUA: So, that's Sir Caesar's older brother, eh? Oh ho, he sure looks like a creepy weirdo!
DIOS: You want my response? Under current conditions, we cannot possibly accept a truce! Our mission is the capture of the Flame Champion. Anything less is unacceptable.
HALLEC: Let me at 'em!
MUA: Hold it! Well then, we have a message for your tactical advisor from our tactical advisor.
SASARAI: Indeed? Go ahead and say it.
MUA: Ahem! "To my dear big brother, Al-Bore: seems likely you're working hard to be the strategic commander you've always wanted to be. Your opening gambit for this war was so predictable that it made your younger brother yawn. Since such childish ploys cannot possibly continue to be effective, I'd guess you're probably not getting much sleep at night. Please take care and try to avoid any big surprises. I'm always afraid that one day those heavy eyebrows of yours will fall right off."
[SASARAI smirks, then snickers, then bursts out laughing. O Caesar. O Sasarai. ♥]
SASARAI: Your tactician enjoys his own sense of humor!
[ALBERT sighs.]
ALBERT: Give him a message from me. "Thanks for the jokes. Good luck with the battle. You'll need it."
--
SARAH: Master Luc, I know that you are brave enough to attempt something that will probably discredit you for generations to come--but I believe that we could now use some assistance. That's why that tactician has asked to help us.
YUBER: You think so? All I got from him was the desire for war.
Book 7:
SASARAI: This isn't working.
SOLDIER: What?
SASARAI: Dios, call Albert over.
DIOS: Yes, sir!
ALBERT: You wish to return home?
SASARAI: Albert, I believe you're a fine tactician--but our forces are worn out, and our supply routes are dangerously exposed to attack. The rainy season is upon us as well, so the insects will become difficult to ride, and ...
ALBERT: And ... ?
SASARAI: And ... I have a bad feeling about this. I've decided to return our troops to Harmonia for now.
ALBERT: Forgive me, Lord Sasarai--but might that not be overly cautious? It's true that there is much at stake with a battle this size. However, the clans occupying the Grasslands are in good shape--and they still have all their leaders. Besides, we still haven't accomplished our goal of capturing the Flame Champion. I'd advise against a retreat at this time.
SASARAI: ... ... ... very well. I will trust your judgement on this.
SOLDIER: Lord Sasarai! Your rain cloak--!
SASARAI: That's all right; I'll just get wet for a change.
SASARAI: Am I too cautious ... ? Or is it you, Albert, who is too hasty in his decisions?
ALBERT: ... ... ...
--
SOLDIER: Hey, that's ... the masked Bishop, isn't it? He really looks like ...
SOLDIER 2: Yeah, he's the spitting image of Lord Sasarai!
ALBERT: Your request for more provisions and troops has been refused. There was some incident regarding the added troops ...
SASARAI: So it wasn't just my imagination--that sinking feeling in my chest ...
ALBERT: ... ... ...
[SOLDIERS burst into the tent, surrounding SASARAI.]
Sasarai: What on earth is this ... ?!
[LUC, SARAH and YUBER enter.]
SASARAI: That face! You're ... !
LUC: Commander of the force invading the Grasslands, Lord Sasarai. I bear a message from the Crystal Valley commanders. They've decided that because of deficiencies in your command, you are to be relieved of this post.
SASARAI: What's this all about? Have we not been completely loyal? How has our war effort not been satisfactory? Tell him, Albert!
[ALBERT bows his head and says nothing.]
SASARAI: Albert ... ?
LUC: I'm sure you're displeased ... but this message came from Chief Bishop Hikusaak.
SASARAI: Lord Hikusaak ... ?
LUC: Take charge of him--and treat him with care.
[The SOLDIERS lead SASARAI out of the tent.]
YUBER: Nice work, strategist.
ALBERT: Well, I did make a few miscalculations ...
--
ALBERT: From this day forth, nobleman Sasarai has been relieved of his command. Nobleman Luc has been given command by the homeland. He will undertake this mission. This is the order from Lord Hikusaak of the Crystal Valley commanders.
--
LUC: Any news of the one who took our beloved brother?
ALBERT: No, we have not yet captured him.
LUC: Hmph. Well, wherever he went, we've no further use for him. We'll just say he was killed while trying to escape.
LUC: Is that ... a dragon?
LE BUQUE SCOUT: We have reports! There's something in the skies above the enemy lands--and it's thought to be a Dragon Cave Knight! The Second Battalion is attempting to drive it off!
LUC: So it is a Dragon Knight ... ? That's not good. We can't employ mounted troops on this terrain--we'll be easily picked off by the dragon.
LE BUQUE SCOUT: A-also ... th-the Duck Clan lands are completely ... flooded! Because of the flooding, the First Battalion has not been effective firing at the ground! They're in complete disarray!
LUC: It's flooded?
ALBERT: What about movement on the ground?
LE BUQUE SCOUT: The Grasslanders are retreating, but they haven't suffered heavy casualties yet! It seems like some kind of feint!
ALBERT: I believe a water attack is coming, Lord Luc. I'll order a retreat. For this operation, I'd like permission to employ the special forces.
LUC: You want to use them ... so soon?
--
ALBERT: How dishonorable of me to allow your first battle to deliver such horrible results, Commander Luc.
LUC: Do not blame yourself. Who would have foreseen that they would destroy their own clan lands like that?
ALBERT: The Grasslanders are a lot tougher than I had imagined. They fought well. Like a cornered mouse biting the cat. Luck was on their side this day ... but their will be another.
LUC: So the Flame Champion is revealed. Next time, we will set a trap for him. We'll have him in the palm of our hand yet.
Book 8:
DUPA: You really think that we were all being manipulated by the Harmonians?
CAESAR: With no proof, I can't say for certain. However, I do think that's precisely the kind of plan that my brother Albert would come up with.
--
ALBERT: There's been a coup d'etat in Zexen?
LUC: Come to think of it, yes. Our contact with the council has been cut off.
ALBERT: The Zexen Knights have joined with the Grasslanders and declared war upon Harmonia.
LUC: A coup d'etat and now a declaration of war? Perhaps we haven't taken those rustic knights seriously enough.
ALBERT: I had already considered this possibility, Sir Luc. Even if they join forces, they've built up enough hatred so that the two factions won't be able to resolve their differences. They will be unable to stand side by side.
LUC: Albert, please go over our position one more time.
ALBERT: Yes, sir! At present, our progress has been slowed to a halt by the floods. Our engineers say that it will take three to five days to construct the dikes and canals we will need for our main force to advance farther.
During that time, we'll regroup and send some troops to that shortcut tunnel in the north. We plan on chasing the Grasslanders down before they can get to the Great Cavern. And, even as we use part of our force to take the Great Cavern, we'll use separate troops to take on the Zexen and slow their charge. I have always included seizure of the Grasslands in my plans, so there's no need to change the operation at all.
LUC: So ... we only have the Runes to worry about. I have the Earth Rune, but the Fire and Water Runes are in enemy hands. The Lightning Rune ...
SARAH: A few days ago, I had a sense that it was here--within our own ranks.
LUC: Now that we know the locations of all the other Runes, we can proceed with our plan. Sarah, you go after the Lightning Rune. Yuber, you start looking for that old general. We have a stranglehold on the land we need for the ceremony.
[LUC walks out of the tent. Immediately, strong winds begin to blow through the camp.]
LUC: The time is growing near ... for me to gather all the Runes, and then give up my soul at the altar.
ALBERT: You are prepared to die ... to save this world?
LUC: To save it? Never. I simply have no interest in living in the boring world that Hikusaak wishes to create.
ALBERT: ... ... ...
Book 9:
ALBERT: Franz, of the Le Buque aerial attack troops! Accused of communicating secretly with the Grasslanders, it has been decided that the punishment for your crime is death. The execution will take place tomorrow--after the battle!
LE BUQUE TROOPS: Is it possible? Could Franz have done that ... ?
QUEEN: Something's wrong, isn't it, Geddoe ... ?
ALBERT: It is imperative that we discourage any collaboration with the enemy!
--
LUC: So, we'll suspend deployment of the insect troops ... ?
ALBERT: Yes. Pushing them ahead now could be quite dangerous.
LUC: Still, it's hard to rely upon Yuber's information alone ...
[A SOLDIER comes up and whispers in ALBERT's ear.]
ALBERT: What? Good news, sir Luc. Our scouts have found what appears to be a door leading to the ceremonial lands. It is located just outside the Lizards' Sky Cavern.
LUC: At last ... !
--
ALBERT: Just as I thought. Our cavalry, with its heavy equipment, is faring better than theirs. Against Zexen on the other hand ...
LEO: How do you like that ... ?!
SOLDIERS: They're too fast!
LUC: Ah, Zexen's six proud Knights. Bury our soldiers.
SOLDIER: Huh ... ?
LUC: And give this message to Sarah. "If we can just buy some time against Zexen, we'll be all right."
SOLDIER: B-but ... !
ALBERT: Go! That's an order from Sir Luc!
--
LUC: We're being routed, aren't we ... ?
ALBERT: I never imagined the Lizards could have hidden a shortcut there. How careless of me.
SOLDIER: S-Sir Luc, please give the order to retreat! The Lizards are headed this way!
LUC: ... no need for retreat.
--
SOLDIERS: What? The insect troops have deployed on their own!
FRANZ: We could never have followed such a general. He would have gotten us all killed! We must get back to protect our village!
SOLDIER: The insect troops have gotten past the lookouts and escaped! If they make it back to Le Buque, they'll set up a rebellion!
ALBERT: We'll deal with them--after we take the Sky Cavern.
SOLDIER: Once this news gets to the homeland, there'll be quite a commotion!
ALBERT: So what ...?
SOLDIER: ... ... ...
--
CAESAR: Honestly, I just don't get him anymore.
HUGO: "Him?"
CAESAR: Albert.
HUGO: Oh, your brother, the Harmonian tactician ...
CAESAR: I don't even like to admit that we're brothers.
HUGO: Did you guys have a fight or something?
CAESAR: I wouldn't call it a "fight," really ... just a difference of opinion.
Traditionally, the Silverberg family has been a house of tacticians, and so, ever since I was young, I was forced to exhaustively study war strategies. The ability to make plans depends upon one's nature and individual characteristics--which is why we've had so many succesful tacticians.
However, even though we're from the same family, I could never stand Albert's ideas. His philosophy is to end the fighting as quickly as possible, no matter how much suffering it causes ... I prefer to keep the number of dead as low as possible -- for the enemy as well as for your side. As a result, our arguments were endless.
HUGO: For the enemy as well as your own side ... ?
CAESAR: That's right. How can you ever rebuild relations with your foe otherwise? Also, if you kill off all your opponent's skilled men, you lose them as a valuable resource. All you'll have left is sorrow. The best tactician should dislike war and also be able to empathize with the enemy. At least, that's my opinion.
HUGO: Caesar, you're a good person!
CAESAR: Well, I ... I certainly try to be. Anyway, as I was saying about Albert ... this time, his plan isn't even a plan. Killing your own forces as well as the enemy's ... ? What is he thinking? What good is taking the Sky Cavern at that price?
HUGO: Why do I get the feeling that the opponents we face ... aren't actually interested in fighting us ... ?
Book 10:
SOLDIER: What are you people trying to do? I was told the objectives of this expedition were to arrest the Flame Champion and to reclaim the Rune. Tell me, just what is this ceremony all about?
ALBERT: Has the survey of the northern front been completed yet?
SOLDIER: No ...
ALBERT: Then what do you hope to accomplish by asking this?
SOLDIER: But--!
YUBER: Move.
ALBERT: Yuber ... what's all that blood?
YUBER: I had to deal with some vermin scurrying away.
ALBERT: Are all the neccessary provisions ready to assault Brass and Budehuc? Before you make your petty inquiries, you should fulfill your mission.
[the SOLDIER salutes and leaves.]
SOLDIER: This is the end of this army ...
ALBERT: The army's morale was shaken ... maybe that's to be expected ... but, still ...
--
CAESAR: It ain't revenge. If it were, there'd be no reason for Albert to work with that Luc jerk.
THOMAS: Hm?
CAESAR: Just think about it! There's really no higher position for a tactician than to serve under Sasarai the second-highest cleric-general of Harmonia, is there? He's not the type to throw all that away just for revenge on some stranger.
THOMAS: That's true ...
CAESAR: Also ... if this Luc guy hadn't muddled things up, this war would be going much more smoothly, as Albert originally planned. He's just pretending to be a tactician who destroys his own plans. Would someone like him do that--someone so wrapped up in his pride? So I'm sure there has to be something else...a real reason behind things ...
THOMAS: A reason ... come to think of it, how do you know about that conversation? You weren't even there ...
CAESAR: Oh, I just happened to hear it walking by ...
APPLE: WHAT?! Caesar, you weren't eavesdropping, were you!?
CAESAR: NO--!
ERNIE: I've got it! Here, this is it! I've found the records of Cyndar ruins located near the Great Sky Cavern ...
CAESAR: What?! What does it say, Ernie?
ERNIE: Um ... "Let not yon passages be used for the passage of people. Grant to this area the five elements. If ye canst manage the combination of the great five elements ... the five elements shall flood yon passages and spread, filling the entire land. Take heed. The five may at one time be turned, opposing each other, and their power shall flow forth and wander about the earth ... and everything shall be destroyed ..."
APPLE: Th-then, it seems that ... Luc ... means to use the Runes' power for revenge, and destroy Harmonia--and the entire world ... ?
ERNIE: Probably ...
CAESAR: That can't be true! Revenge, huh?! To destroy the whole world?! There's no way he'd choose such a path--don't act like you understand!
ERNIE: Ah--!
APPLE: Caesar!
CAESAR: I know he chooses the goal over the method--we've always disagreed on that point! But even more so, as a Silverberg, he has his pride as a tactician to live for! Just like me! A tactician's purpose is to use his head to create what his master wants! Revenge? Destruction? Even a monkey could wreak those! THEY DON'T REQUIRE A TACTICIAN'S MIND!!
EIKE: Well, why then? People's ideas change. If we just consider that they've thrown away logic and pride, then your argument is instantly defeated.
[CAESAR leaves the room, ignoring APPLE calling his name.]
APPLE: ... ... ... I'm sorry. It's always like this with the brothers ...
--
ALBERT: An order to return to the Crystal Valley?
SOLDIER: Yes, sir! The High Priest Hikusaak wishes to question all of you on your actions ... and so ... augh!
YUBER: Seems they've noticed us ...
--
ALBERT: With the insect troops joining, they're becoming quite a force.
YUBER: Those fools are coming to be slaughtered meaninglessly ... ? This is truly quite a sight!
SARAH: You called?
ALBERT: It's your turn, Sarah. As per habit, the Flame Champion will soon run ahead of his army. Capture the Flame Champion ... and bring him to the ceremonial grounds.
--
ALBERT: We're running out of time ...
CAESAR: Albert ...
Book 11:
LUCIA: Monsters!
MUA: What's happening on the right flank? We'd better send aid!
FRANZ: Aim for the monsters! If we take them down, it's over!
CAESAR: I can't believe he did that...
ALBERT: Perfect. They need to get as far away as they can from this place. And the sooner, the better.
--
YUBER: It's very simple. If even one of the Runes is destroyed, the ashen future will not come. I heard the Cyndar civilization left a powerful weapon in the Grasslands. We could use that. Fortnately, we already have one of the five Runes needed to activate it.
LUC: The force of the five Runes will be released and returned to nature.
YUBER: Mankind will be freed from the curse of the Runes. Freed, and given an eternal future. That is, if they will sacrifice the Grasslands.
LUC: By breaking a Rune, we'd unleash an awesome power of destruction. But if we don't do anything, the only thing awaiting us is the ashen future ...
ALBERT: There may be casualties, lord Luc, but we can minimize the number of victims. For example, if we sent a powerful army to force the Grasslanders from their land ... we could at least keep civilian losses to a minimum.
LUC: Then we could move them to Harmonia ... we could collect all five Runes there, too.
ALBERT: Leave it to me, Lord Luc. I give you my pledge to accomplish whatever you request me to do. That's my duty as a general.
We can use the name Silverberg for an officer to be sent to Harmonia. The bearer of the True Earth Rune is a Bishop called Sasarai ...
--
[on an outcropping, ALBERT watches the Harmonian army straggle homeward. He wheels his horse around to leave.]
???: Albert.
ALBERT: !
ALBERT: ...Caesar.
CAESAR: It was not like you to fight a war like that. Who would have thought a guy like you would even care about the lives of Grasslanders if they got in the way of achieving your goal? And yet, you set up a fake war to drive people away from the Grasslands ... I wouldn't even call that a war ... why ... why did you save the Grasslanders in such a way?
ALBERT: ... because it was my duty. But the mission was unsuccesful. I don't think the True Wind Rune was destroyed.
CAESAR: What do you mean?
ALBERT: As the ruins crumbled away, I saw a ray of light shooting off somewhere. Besides ... if the Rune really had been destroyed, the impact would have been much greater ...
CAESAR: What ... ? Hey, where are you going?
ALBERT: Now that I'm a Harmonian exile ... I should probably change my name and move to another continent. I'll start all over again in some foreign land.
[He moves to leave.]
CAESAR: Albert! Our battle isn't over yet! And until it is, don't die on me!
[
ALBERT, unseen by CAESAR, smiles. He then lifts his hand in salute, and that's the last we see of him.]
CAESAR: What a jerk ... !
