Throwing up his blood and refusing to sleep in Coffin? Those two issues trumped just about anything else Walter had on his mind for the time being.

He was hardly aware of the garden as he walked through it to knock on Vlad's door.

Walter remembered as he entered that he'd planned to bring some groceries to Vlad's flat, but his concern for his lover had pushed the idea from his mind. Next time.

He found the vampire at his desk and went around behind it for a proper greeting.
