Hi de hi people!
Well, muchos has been happening, or is about to happen.
Since I updated, Snow Patrol's new album has come out. I have to say, that and the Kooks, (and hopefully Keane's upcoming album) are THE albums of the year. Snow Patrol is gorgeous. Esp tracks 1,3,6 and 7. Can't wait to see them in concert.
I have also chosen my modules for next year. I am doing:
1) English Novels and their settings (TBC)
2) Post Wars US Lit
3) Society and Culture in the British Isles 1500-1750
4) Fictions of Empire
5) History Dissertation
Work is really cool too. Got a Hawaiian night out next friday. Today was funny, because we got bright yellow tshirts and played office games. Good fun all round!
What have I got coming up? Well, it's off to Sheffield tomorrow! I am going to stay for a few days, get away for a bit. Had a pretty hectic few weeks, need a couple of days off to recouperate before exams. I'm sure you can all empathise there!
I go full time at work next week too, which will be cool. Means more money. And more money, means more clothes, which means happy me! lol. I can be so shallow.
Holiday in 6 weeks too. Really looking forward to a bit of sun.
My birthday in 2 and a bit weeks. My Dad is 50 on Monday, which is weird. He's gonna be an old man!
Anyway, I gotta go start packing for tomorrow, so I bid thee all adieu!
