I'm a very lucky boy

So, I must be blessed or something, because the very day I planned to leave Iceland for London is also the day that euro air space re-opens. I hadn't even planned to stay in Iceland, except the flight centre guy who booked my ticket talked me into it.

I have managed to procure a few gifts and, what's even more amazing, I've managed to fit them into my bag. I'm thinking I will be doing a bit more shopping at duty free but I cam always hit them during my lay-over on the way back.

Also, in case anyones wondering, I would totally reccommend Icelandair. The seats were big and comfy and you get seat back TV. Only down side is that they don't feed you, even on an 8 hour flight, unless you pay of course. But the food wasn't that expensive and it was good.

Also, interesting icelandic fact, today is their first day of summer, which is also a major party day and a national holiday. I'm told there will even be a parade downtown. It seems that as they don't recognize spring or fall they celebrate summer early.

Also, Icelandic people really like to dress up in strange home-made costumes and go out in public.
