Yesterday
staysonpaper and I were machinating evil schemes at Corner Coffee, when suddenly a television reporter accosted us. She proceeded to interrogate me:
"Do you have a blog?" Uh, I guess so. It's not much...
"Are you a student?" No, I work.
"What kind of company do you work for?"
...etc. Being a sucker for attention, I let her interview me for some News 8 segment they should air in a couple weeks--asking the question: "Blogging: Should Employers Ban Employees Talking About Them?" That seems to be News 8's tempest-in-a-teapot du jour. I thought it was kind of cute. After all, it touches on free speech issues--so it's not _totally_ pointless, eh?
The woman had me sitting in front of the computer, showing my blog (puny as it is). I managed to give props to
carpe_jugulum--her fabulous photography and
custom hairpieces.
Yet regrettably, I did not squeeze in mention of
staysonpaper's artworks, since they weren't right in front of me. And unfair it was--as she wrangled me into this LJ tomfoolery in the first place, and blogs more than I do, at that.
Take a peek, if you dare, at her realm of sterling madness:
Eldritch Horrors, LTD. Tentacled silver creations lurk in the depths! Egad! What fiendish sorcery hath wrought these objects? Behold ye, vortical mysteries that none can fathom.
So there's my "15 minutes"! Though it'll likely be 15 seconds, after they cut it.
