bye-bye Noah

May 20, 2005 01:36

I apologize upfront for errors in my writing. It is pretty late and I am tired, but I needed to update before I forgot. This is going to be a really random entry. But hey, this is my journal. So if you don't like it, don't read it! I think I am going to save ER for last.

I am glad by boys had the day off today, because they really needed it! On Tuesday, they beat the Angles 13-5. On Wednesday, there was a great pitching duel between Bartolo Colon (ex-Indian ace) and our current number one guy, Jake Westbrook. I also wondered which I like to watch better a slugging contest (which means no pitching) or a pitchers match (meaning no hits). I am still indecisive. Anyways, so we are in the top of the 9th inning and it is 1-0 Indians. Out starter, Jake, is still on the mound since he has thrown under 100 pitches, gave up only 2 hits, and retired the last 21 hitters in a row. He freaking gives up 2 runs!!!!!! That has been his season so far. He has pitched gems and has hardly anything to show for it.

I have to apologize to any Bo Bice lovers out there, but what the hell was America thinking when they choose him over Vonzel? I thought the song he performed without the band was hideous, but apparently everybody loved it including Simon. He is going down in the final...HOPEFULLY!!! But then again this is America, and we did elect Bush as our president. So I guess anything can happen.

Tomorrow I have a bunch of stuff to. I have to pick up dinner from the butcher, go to the doctors, go to the car service place so they can look at it. The windshield in the van is cracked. It is a mystery as how it happened, because it isn't jagged and there are no pebbles. My dad seems to think it was defected. Anyways, after I do that, I am going to go to Southgate Mall in search of clothes and dress shoes. I have a so called wedding to go to in three weeks. This is going to be no easy task, because shopping isn't my thing. Sometime in between I have to buy my airplane ticket to Chicago or I don't even have to worry about finding something to where because I will have no way of getting there. Thank goodness it is Friday though, because that means after I come home I get to have a nice dinner and sleep the day away on Saturday.

I just found out that the Rossaco's (our next door neighbors) are moving to North Carolina. That is sad, because they are really great neighbors. A very nice young couple with a three old son named Michael. Uch, he is the cutest thing in the world!!! I am going to miss playing outside with him and taking him around the neighborhood on Halloween. The wife is soooo very nice. She would send me packages at school. Vince, Lynn, and Michael, you will be missed very much. I wish you guys much luck with the new job and life down in the south (I guess it kind of qualifies as the south)

Ok, so I guess I can get to the ER part now. Call me pathetic, but I did get a little emotional. I was at my friend Carly's house since Michelle is in Chicago. She got a little pissy at me, because she didn't understand how I could be that emotional at a tv show. I tired to explain to her it just wasn't any tv show. I watched all 11 seasons (Yup I watched the show since I was 8 years old), I am madly in love with Noah in case people didn't know that or catch that from my name, and the words that he said in the end kind of applied to my future. Michelle, if you haven't watched it yet, don't read this. I am going to recap the show, so I will never forgot it. You can stop reading here if you didn't miss the show or have no desire to know about what went on.

It starts with Carter bringing in boxes of pizza when Sam hugs him in the ambulance bay and says sorry she can't make it to the party, but she didn't have a babysitter. So now Noah knows about his surprise going away party. Ray goes to a party at his friend's house with Morris. Ray starts kissing a girl on the patio that was a good few floors above the ground. He gets called inside when Morris starts to puke. While Ray is talking to Morris the porch collapses. When he looks over he sees the girl sitting on the railing where he left her. That was the only part of the porch still standing then that too falls. Ray rushes down and begins to asses the people. He finds that 6 people are dead including his friend. There are also 4 critically injured people. The paramedics arrive and say that County has closed their trauma center because everyone was at Carter's part except for Abby and Neela. Ray convinces Abby to take the 4 critical patients. Abby pages Luca, but he didn't have has his pager on him. He was giving a toast to Carter. He told him that his father told him that it is only goodbye to our roads meet again and good friends are destined to pass cross again (or something like that). While Carter was in the bathroom preparing to say some words, Luca noticed his pager. When Noah came out everyone had rushed back to County to help with the accident victims. Noah sits down to a guy who was still at the table who came for the free food, lol. There were slides of Noah throughout the years. Noah makes his way back to County. He is setting the bones of a girl's wrist when the mom asks if Noah remembers her. He said no. The mom said that she gave birth in this emergency room in 1994 and he delivered the girl he was working on. That was kind of neat. One of the first patients he helped was also the last. Noah finds a letter in his locker and reads it. He wrote it when he first started. It said that he was scared, he hopes he doesn't kill anybody, if he makes attending it will be the best thing that can happen to him. This is where I got sad, because then he has flashbacks and walks out the doors for the last time. Season 11 ends with Alex decides to take his mom's credit card and money. He wants to go find his dad. The screen goes black after it shows Alex hitch-hiking with a man in a truck...
