Just a really quick one for today, rewatchers! It's all Reid and figuring out Chris's secret. Yeah, we're already at the point. On with the show!

Oh, day player. You should really look behind you when you're talking about someone behind their back. Reid caught that eye rolling and sigh when nurse and crying Gretchen complained about Dr. Oliver being up for the chief of staff position. Their faces were quite comical. How comical? This comical:



They both run away and Reid looks both pissed and hot.

Katie leaves an examination room and doesn't notice Reid at all standing right there. He asks Nurse Rolling Eyes (and he doesn't care if she hates him) why Katie was in the exam room. The first thing he asks is, "Is her kid sick?" LOOK HOW MUCH THIS MAN CARES ABOUT PEOPLE BUT ESPECIALLY LITTLE BB JACOB.

Reid catches Chris drawing his own blood. Ruh-oh.

Chris lies and says it's a stomach bug. Reid doesn't believe that it's just because of a tummy ache. Chris tells him not to say anything and Reid jokes that he's gonna go update his status because he's all about social networking. Um, Reid? The fact that you know there's such a thing as a status update? Makes me think you're not all that technologically inept. Nice try though. Luke probably talks to Reid about updating his. They probably all say, "Hanging out with my boyfriend", "With my boyfriend at mom's", "Here's a picture of my grumpy boyfriend." No one knows Reid's name because it's all "my boyfriend" this and "my boyfriend" that.

ANYWAY.

"When smart doctors get sick, they have healthy doctors treat them." PREACH, REID. PREACH. He makes fun of Chris by saying that it's not as though he won't get the position because he's sick; he won't get the position because he's not good enough.

Reid inspects the vial of blood Chris wants tested and reads what he's testing for. Reid figures it out immediately 'cause he's a genius and again, Margo and Katie pass him as if he weren't there.

Reid wants to know why Chris is telling Katie, Reid's roommate (and friend -- that goes unsaid) that he has acid reflux when he's testing for a tropical disease. The clip ends when he says, "Why are you lying, Chris?" First time in a long time he's uttered his name. Reid means business.
