Well, hello rewatchers! Let's continue on from the last post.

We start right where we left off and everyone's still waiting on Holden. Luke and Reid are talking to each other and Reid says he's going to go grab a snack complete with finger movements. Luke smiles because he's totally amused that his boyfriend is adorable and predictable.

Outside, Carly and Jack formulate a plan to delay the wedding. She's going to pretend to hurt her ankle! Genius.

While Carly's talking, Reid goes to check out what's in the fridge. When he can find nothing, he raids the cookie jar.

Carly pretends to fall. Reid doesn't care. He's got his cookie. He's looking pretty content with life. Then, Jack has to draw attention to him because Carly needs a doctor. Reid gives his, "Who? Me?" face and Luke beckons him over with a, "Duh, yes, you" complete with finger movements. They're already mirroring each other's mannerisms. Reid says it looks fine, Carly needs to stall for time and insists on going to the hospital.

Luke calls the minister to wait and off Jack and Carly go. Reid gives adorable finger cookie wave to say goodbye.

Somewhere between all that, they called off the wedding, and that's where we find Luke, Reid, Parker, Faith, Natalie, and Ethan hanging around. They're at the Lakeview. Luke tells Parker and Faith that Molly is not marrying Holden. Luke has something to say to Reid, turns around, and finds that Reid is being given the third degree by his younger siblings.

Oh, this scene. My heart. Reid struggles for the right words while the kids keep asking him questions and Luke looks on in amusement. Do you need to see how awesome this looks? I thought you'd never ask.

Oh, boyfriend. What are you trying to do?

I'm struggling and not knowing what to say here, Luke. Save me.

Reid even promises cake. I love the way Natalie's like, "But, Reid said we could have cake." Like she's already so comfortable with him. We love Natalie. Reid even gives her an adorable thumbs up! Reid even gives Ethan a little ride down from the stool. Reid's so awkwardly adorable with kids.

Luke and Reid end up going to the honeymoon suite to pack everything up where Reid makes the following observations: food, fancy sparkly water crap, cable, big bed (he even presses down on it to test whether or not it can handle Luke and Reid's thunder). Reid suggests Luke take a breather from the drama. He's probably exhausted from it himself.

They talk about how great Reid was and Reid dives in for the kiss and ... Luke pulls away. Reid's none too pleased. Luke brings up Noah again and Reid's response makes me crack. up. His hard "I KNOW THAT." Yes, don't we all? You have to laugh to remove the frustration. Luke explains that he associates all of this with Noah and he needs to get that man out of his head already (is what that's implying). Reid, perplexed, asks, "Do you need to be courted?"

Luke calls himself a Victorian romance heroine and Reid's probably thinking, "Yes." Luke says he needs time to get The Douche out of his head. Luke expects Reid to ask how much time he needs, thinking that Reid's going to push him for more but instead Reid just says, "Some things take as long as they take." A MOST UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENT BOYFRIEND YOU ARE, REID. But he does admit that patience isn't really his thing. Luke talks encouragement which I think means -- more hand holding, hardcore making out, almost everything but sex. Yes.

LOOK AT THE HAND HOLDING. LOOK AT THE HARDCORE MAKING OUT. LOOK AT LUKE'S HAND IN REID'S HAIR AND HOW LUKE DIVES IN FOR ANOTHER KISS AS SOON AS HE PULLS AWAY. THIS ENCOURAGEMENT IS GOOD.

It buys him a small amount of time.

And Luke's grinning from ear to ear with the knowledge that he has the best boyfriend in the universe and Reid doesn't want to smile, is probably preventing a smile from escaping but he can't help but grin right back at him. Luke happy? Reid happy. That is how that works. These two. I love them. ♥
