I didn't watch her storyline and I have no idea what's happening with her right now, but in these scenes she reminds me of those mothers who were never ballet dancers so their daughters have to be ballet dancers. "YOU AND NOAH HAVE TO WORK. YOU HAVE TO BECAUSE HOLDEN AND I AREN'T SO YOU HAVE TO OKAY!".

Yeah, there were A LOT of parallels drawn between Lily/Holden and Nuke during this time. The writers clearly just didn't know where the hell they were going. Thankfully, they realised how awesome Luke and Reid are together and gave Noah the flick pretty soon, but you could tell they were trying to use the comparison to Lilden to make audiences nostalgic or whatever.

It's also unfair to ask "Do you want forever" when they're not even dating as of yet. Of course he doesn't know. Who the hell would? It's such a childish view of the world coming from an adult, like "I saw him and I knew we were forever and ever!" . It now makes sense that we all like Reid and his realism, including Luke, because everyone else is living in a Disney movie. But I think it's pretty obvious he's not seeing forever with Noah.

YES! Utterly ridiculous to ask if Luke wants forever with someone he's not even dating yet! Soap operas are so stooooopid!

Well to be fair, "forever" in Lilyspeak usually means six months...tops. :)
