But now I think it's more of an ESS thing than a Reid thing, and if I see him do it on another show or movie, I will squeal and flail like the fangirl that I am NOT.

I definitely think it's an ESS thing-watch at 0:20.

It's Jake Silbermann; Van left the luncheon early. All 3 were at the table at the beginning of the event. But this was when it was ending.

Seriously though, does anyone know? Does any other character on the show don the dark blue scrubs? I'm going to have to do some research...would it be giving the writers too much credit to assume that it was symbolic in some way?

Did Dr. Ben used to wear them?

OMG, can you imagine if Dr. Ben had still been on the show when Reid was there? Gah...that would have been way too much pretty walking the halls of Memorial. THAT could have sparked some fan fic! *evil grin* Sorry...off track...

Finally!! someone else commented on that too!! It has always kind of bothered me for some reason. I mean, could they really not afford to give him a full set of scrubs??

I actually liked the jeans because he looked good in them, although I don't know how realistic that is for a doctor to be in jeans. I just sensed that wardrobe wanted him to look hot and didn't care too much about how Chris looked.

Does anyone else on the show wear the dark blue scrubs, or are those saved exclusively for our hot soap opera doctor boyfriend?

I know in many hospitals, surgeons and wear a different color scrubs than non-surgical doctors. I'm not sure if the writers of ATWT put that much thought into things, but that's how I explain the different colors to myself!

Of course, IMO, if Reid was the one in teal and Chris was in navy, Reid would still look hotter!
