"I'm going to Texas with you!"
Today's episode picks up right where the last one left off. Luke and Noah are at Al's and Reid's watching from outside, seething with burning jealousy because he wants those Snyder lips on his face, not Noah's.
Reid gets a call and goes off to save a life while Noah blows off Luke's offer to celebrate with some friends because he's got a date. Oh yes, a date. This from the man who would later go on to accuse Reid of "stealing his boyfriend" about a dozen times. DOUCHE!
Then we have Noah doing what he does best. Making Luke sadface. It's kind of amazing how often Noah makes Luke look like this. :(
Poor, bb. Chin up, Starshine. Soon you'll have a boyf who adores you and will make you look like you have stars and moons and hearts in your eyes. :X
Back at the hospital, Reid runs into Bob and Kim, and his day gets even worse. Bob tells him he's not allowed to keep working while the malpractice suit is on. Reid takes the news with his usual good grace, and ends up in a shouting match with Bob. Hey, Reid. It's generally not a good idea to insult your boss's wife, FYI. Reid's soon-to-be boyf comes in just in time and manhandles him away and locks him in a room. Sigh.
Reid and Luke have a heartfelt talk, and Reid says three words that you know make Luke "I need to be needed" Snyder's heart just sing. Three words he's probably never heard from Noah. "I need you."
Back outside, Kim bitches about Reid, again, and Bob tells her to stop dissing his man crush. Reid is ace, yo!
Back in the Snyder/Oliver Locker Room of Lust and Affection, Reid asks Luke to help get him back in the operating room. Luke says he doesn't want to do anything illegal or immoral and Reid realises that makes him shit outta luck. But then Luke pulls out the big guns. Not, from his pants, unfortunately. Lucinda can help! "Come again," Reid says. Oh, he'll come, Reid. Many times. Just you wait.
Lucinda's scheduled an emergency hearing with the Texas medical review board, and guess what? Luke's "not going to let him do it alone." Dallas here we come! \o/
