Poor Luke continues to experience A Series of Unfortunate Events, the latest of which includes getting some information about his missing father. He's told that Damian was last seen unconscious on the deck of a freighter, that his body was most likely washed overboard, which almost certainly killed him. On top of all this, the Worst Boyfriend Ever ( Read more... )

As usual, I'm on Lily's side.

Me, too. I know a lot of people don't like Lily very much, but I think she's a MUCH better parent to Luke than Holden (the way they each reacted when he first came out to him being the one exception to that rule).

ITA with Reid. Yes, the bone marrow thing might be painful. Get over it. Liberty's life is on the line! Sheesh.

I know! I mean, I would understand Katie's reluctance if Liberty needed one of Jacob's kidneys or a piece of his liver or something -- that's serious surgery with major risks. But this? I'm far from an expert, but from what I understand, the main "complication" involved is the fact that it is pretty damned painful. But compared to Liberty's life, what is a little pain?

But, to be fair to Katie, I tend to think her reluctance came at least partially from a place of denial -- like she didn't want to accept that Brad's daughter was really that sick or something. IMO, actually going through with getting Jacob tested is probably what really drove home to her just how sick Liberty was, which is why she had her breakdown later, thinking about how unfair it all was that Brad was gone and his daughter had cancer.

Rewatching these scenes, and how awesome Reid is, makes me mad all over again that they killed him for no reason. Idiots.

I don't know what you're talking about. The show ended with a scene in the parking lot where Reid told Luke he loved him. There was nothing after that. NOTHING!!!!!!!!

Exactly. I can't even get angry anymore, because I refuse to acknowledge that craptastic ending. Not buying it!

Yeah, that's very true. It's a shame they dropped the whole Katie/Liberty relationship after Brad died.

My bad, I was thinking of another show. You're right, Luke and Reid are living HEA!
