This was sweet. Love Luke bringing him the sandwich. I really loved the conversation with Luke and Casey! Just the thought of Lily buying condoms LOL It's nice here how they fight, but quickly make up !
I'm glad you liked it! :D Thank you so much for the kind feedback! I love that they fight but I also love that they make up so quickly. Reid's not about jerking Luke's chain like Noah was. Hell, Reid doesn't even want Luke to have a chain. :D
I am so, so happy with all these wonderful fics you've written! I loved how any 'arguments' LuRe had were over almost as soon as they started and I love how you've portrayed that here.
Aw, you're so generous! Thank you for this kind feedback! I love that Luke and Reid don't stay made long or let things fester -- or need time apart. :) LOL! Thank you again!
That's sweet! Thank you! I'm really glad you particularly liked that line, and I love to know what, in particular, people enjoyed. :D Thank you for this wonderful feedback!
So, so great! I'm really happy that there are a lot of fics out here that show that Reid's not perfect either (*gasp*), but he knows when he's being a jerk and hurts Luke and then actually does something about it (without letting things fester.)
Also, thank you for putting this lovely image in my head:
Reid hadn’t added much to it, just a soup bowl shaped like a brain. Luke hadn’t been able to resist buying it the next day, and now Reid happily slurps lumpy vegetable soup while murmuring, “Mmm, brains.” It always makes Luke laugh.
Oh, yeah, Reid's a jerk at time, and that's why he's awesome. :D And, yeah, I loved that Reid didn't let things fester with Luke. He always wanted things out in the open as soon as possible, it seemed.
I'm amused by how many people like the soup bowl! LOL! It was some weird thing that just...came to me and seemed true. Thank you so much for the kind feedback!
Reid doesn’t need space when something goes wrong, nor does he need some time to deal with his frustration on his own. No, he wants Luke, and Luke wants to be there for him.
THIS is what I loved about LuRe on ATWT. Fights never lasted more than two scenes and were immediately resolved. No games or drama moments like with Nuke.
And I wish I could reside in your brain for five minutes to see the seeds of lines like this: Reid hadn’t added much to it, just a soup bowl shaped like a brain. Luke hadn’t been able to resist buying it the next day, and now Reid happily slurps lumpy vegetable soup while murmuring, “Mmm, brains.” It always makes Luke laugh. You are brilliant. Really you are. <3
Aw, yeah, I loved that about them, too. I liked how it all got put out on the table, and there were no endless accusations. It was great. They were so good together.
As for that line, LOL! I'm amused that so many seemed to like them. I don't even know where it came from. It just appeared in my head and seemed true, so I wrote it. :D I'm glad you liked it!
