Part Thirty-Nine: "I have been lying and it makes me feel like dirt."
Sorry this wasn't posted yesterday! Just one of those things in which I drop the ball but it's back to the Luke. Let's have some happy Luke this Friday.
Lily and Holden discuss Luke's awesomeness. Can we really argue with that? No.
Kevin remains the pressure cooker of peer pressure and Luke's not so happy with Kevin's attitude. Kevin is the worst enabler in the history of Luke. "Just one beer," "Just one beer, man!" KEVIN. STOP IT.
Despite everything that Luke's been through with his parents, you can tell that he is just dying to tell them his secret so that they know who he is. Kevin is obviously a teenager and is having his teenage rebellion and wants nothing to do with his own parents.
Linden decides that they're going to go home to talk to Luke. Luke's talking on the phone with Kevin, while driving, AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENS?

I know this first scene wasn't supposed to make me LOL but it kind of did. I mean, instead of making a plea to God about your secret and your parents, grab the phone and call 911, Luke. Just saying. And you're not supposed to move someone's head or any part of them lest you further their damage.
Holden? Luke just hit someone with the car. Lay off a little.
Again, Holden pushes Luke to hear the truth from Luke. At the hospital. While they're waiting to hear about the girl that Luke hit.
AND THEN LUKE HUGS HIS MOMMY AND IT'S JUST ABOUT THE CUTEST THING THAT I'VE EVER SEEN.
The woman wakes up and seems to recognize Lily! Gasp. Dun, dun, dunnnnnnnnnn. To be continued.
