Part Thirty-Seven: "You don't trust me, and now I don't trust you. I'd say we're real done."

We start off today with Luke being a teenaged bratface to his mother because he, *gasp*, had his driving privileges revoked for, you know, drinking and lying about drinking after his kidney transplant. Lily points out that they are trying to keep him alive. Luke shoots back with, "I made a mistake. It's not like I'm the first person in this family to ever do that, you know." Oh, bratty Luke, I loveth you. Always have. Always will.

Lily and Holden have a discussion in which Lily expresses her confusion over Luke's motivations for getting drunk, and Holden flashes to the dirty, dirty massage (*snorfle*) that he caught Luke giving to Kevin. Oh, Holden, tell Lily your suspicions, you dunderhead, and prevent the upcoming storyline of mommy-fail. Jeez, maybe if the woman had had a little warning, like you did, then she might not have reacted so miserably badly.

Later, Faith runs in and sees Luke's computer sitting on the coffee table, and opens it up. Luke comes around the corner and acts like a typical big brother and barks at her to leave it alone; this is apparently not his usual behavior, because Holden overhears and looks appalled.

Despite Luke's protestations to the contrary, Faith seems convinced that the reason Luke doesn't want her on his computer is because he doesn't want her reading his blog. ("Someone's been blogging again!" Heh. Makes me wonder if Reid read the entire backlog of Luke's blog.)

Luke excels at being a terrible teenager - LOL! OMG I LOVE HIM - and Lily is rightfully exasperated. View and be entertained! Lily overhears Kevin and his hilariously scripted peer pressure trying to talk Luke into doing some more 'partying'. Holden, meanwhile, violates Luke's privacy by looking at his computer, cracks his login name as 'H8ed Boi' (BOI!!! LOL! Alert, Holden, your son is gay!) and looks very worried by whatever he reads on the screen, as though the login name wasn't enough to give a parent pause. And then Holden gets busted being a spying spy dad.

Holden and Luke have a great confrontation - just watch it. I kind of want to watch it five times. I think the best part, though, is at the end when Luke is so vulnerable, so scared, and he admits that he truly believes that his parents could hate him - "...because people do; they change their minds." Of course he'd believe this! Look at how often his parents have changed their minds about the people they love and want to be with?
