Part Thirty-Six: "What is the lesson? Don't get drunk on my property?"
We pick up our story with Lucinda discovering Luke and Kevin fast asleep in her guest house after a night of drinking. Lucinda is understandably upset and wonders just what is going on with Luke. She insists on calling Holden, and Luke begs her not to tell Goodish Dad that Luke's darling Kevin was there, claiming Kevin's parents will hurt him if they find out. Oh, Luke. Always protecting the people he loves.
Lucinda then asks Luke why he wants to die. :(( Great scene between Elizabeth Hubbard and Van Hansis.

Holden arrives and is understandably upset to learn Luke was drinking. Then Kevin and his dad, Mr. Day Player, arrive to apologize. Now Holden is REALLY not happy that Luke lied about being alone, and is haunted by visions of The Great Gay Backrub of 2006. He grounds Luke: no drinking, no driving, no Kevin, no backrubs.
