Apparently he will indeed! I believe this is episode five, so they must think it's funnier than three or four and are showing it out of order to try and keep the show on the air. Well, if anything can help, it's Eric in a tux!

Where does this show take place? In the south, I guess? Or are there cotillions all over the States?

Eh, I don't know a single person who's been to one, though I do believe it's more common in the South. And much more common on TV. Some of the actors have vaguely Southern accents, but that may not be intentional characterization.
