“How do I look?”
“Great.” I answer him with my usual gentle smile. He smirks at me and turning once by 360°. Pride and excitement surround him like a overwhelming light. I can't bear looking at him right now.
“Just great?”
Forcing a bigger smile I replied. “What d'you want to hear? You're so awesome fabulous Mister Shadows!” Bitterness dripping from my voice. He didn't even sound that out.
“Fuckin' right dude!” He's so damned self-confident like no one else. Today more than ever.
Matts fly is not correct. I near myself till I stand right in front of him. Quieting him, when he asks me what's wrong and begin rearranging the piece of cloths. His scent embrace me immediately. I want to close my eyes, let my mind drift away and dream just a little bit more.
“Are you happy?” I ask quietly.
“Sure. Why not?”
“Dunno. I just...” I pause. I've to concentrate not to tremble. There are so many things I want to do. So many things I want to tell.
“Dude, relax. Everything's fine. She's the right one, since ever. Don't worry!” He smiles at me with these damned dimples at his face. It's so honest. So trustful. I want to cry. Instead I return this smal gesture.
“Yeah, I know.”
The door flips open. Zackys black hair appear in the doorway. “What you guys doin' in here god damned? It's time! Everbody's waitin'!”
“Me comin'.”
Matt pats me on the back. I feel like fainting. I want to stop the time. I'm not ready. Not yet.
“Showtime man! Let's marry me off!”
I never told him, that I love him.
